smør body soap + buff bag allows you to begin your hydration in the shower. by using the most gentle and clean soap formula in combo with the sustainable and reusable buff bag. you can safely remove dead skin cells and cleanse your skin. to complete your hydration, use it in combination with smør body butter for that signature gløw.
body soap ingredients: organic palm oil, organic coconut oil, organic olive fruit oil, sodium hydroxide*, rosemary flower extract.
*sodium hydroxide is used for saponification, none remains in finished product.

what is body butter?
body butter is a thick moisturizer made mostly of plant butters and oils, with little or no water. smør has no water at all: just butters, oils and vitamin e.
is body butter better than lotion for dry skin?
lotion is mostly water, so it feels light and soaks in fast, but you have to reapply. many lotions also contain drying agents and fragrance. smør body butter does not and is formulated with only butters, oils, and vitamin e so it feels richer and keeps skin soft longer. if your skin feels tight again an hour after lotion, try a body butter. more in our guide: body butter vs lotion.
is smør greasy?
it's made of only butters and oils, so it feels rich going on. use a small amount and it melts in without a sticky film. one customer put it this way: "most importantly it is not sticky or greasy!!"
why isn't smør body butter whipped?
most body butters are whipped now. whipping adds air, so a jar holds less butter, and it can turn hard over time. smør stays dense with a balm like consistency, then melts in as you smooth it on, without a sticky feel.
how to use
a little goes a long way. with clean, dry hands, scoop out a small amount, warm between your palms, and massage into skin. add more as needed.
does smør body butter have a scent?
there's no added fragrance. you may notice a light, natural smell from the butters and oils.
is smør body butter good for sensitive skin?
smør body butter was made for dry, sensitive skin: nine ingredients, no water which means no preservatives, no silicones, no alcohols, and no added fragrance. if your skin reacts easily, try a small patch first.
are smør products cruelty-free and vegan?
yes, all smør products are cruelty-free. we do not test on animals. additionally, our formulations are vegan, containing no animal-derived ingredients.
what sizes does smør body butter come in?
